Objective:Explore the relevant clinical pathological factors to affect the prognosis of colon cancer patients with postoperative chemo-therapy, in order to provide certain theoretical basis to the prognosis assessment about colon cancer patients of after-treatment.Methods:Retrospectively analysis completive clinical data about 146 colon cancer patients in the first hospital of Nanchang University on November 1,2002-October 31,2005, adopt X2 test to compare differentiation in groups, adopt product limit analysis method (Kaplan-Meier method) to calculate various subgroup spatients survival, adopt Log-Rank test to compare survival, adopt COX regression model to do Multiariate analysis. Results:The 1,3,5 years of overall survival about all groups of patients were 83.5%,72.6%,60.3%.The univariate analysis showed that ECOG score, organization differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis, vascular invasion, clinical stages and preoperative CEA level were colon cancer prognostic factors. The multivariate analysis further discovery:organization differentiation degree, Lymph node metastasis, clinical stages, preoperative CEA level were independent prognostic factors about colon cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy. Conclusion:The prognosis of colon cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy related with many factors, this study found:Organization differentiation degree, lymph node metastasis, clinical stages(AJCC The sixth edition in 2003),preoperative CEA level were independent prognostic factors about patients survival.
