Objective:This paper is to validate a new kind of vascular anastomotic feasibility with medical adhesive glue aided by a simple instrument named spiral-pin.Method:The experimental objects were 12 New-Zealand rabbits. After narcotization their bilateral femoral artery were cut off. One side was assigned as one control side at random, another side was assigned as one experimental side. The disconnected femoral artery of all control sides were anastomosed by the standard suture method. On the other hand,. the disconnected femoral artery of all experimental sides were anastomosed by a new method, which anastomosis were internally supported by spiral-pin and vascular conglutinations were accomplished by medical adhesive glue outside. Two species anastomosis method were compared each other according to the length of time consumed during operating respectively and the variance of bilateral femoral artery blood flow rate at different time, before operation as well as instant,3d,2w,4w, after vascular anastomosisResult:The mean time cost in traditional suturing anastomosis in control sides is 13.5 min, instead,8.4min in experimental sides. The immediate patency rates of two sides were all 100%. There are no significant statistical differences in the variance of femoral artery blood flow velocity between control sides and experimental sides 3d to 4w later after vascular anastomosis, except for immediate postoperative blood flow rate. Conclusion:The vascular patency rate and the blood flow velocity of experimental anastomosis are not lower than that in traditional micro-suture anastomosis after operation. In addition, vascular anastomosis with medical glue internally supported by spiral-pin may bring about many advantages, such as simplifying vascular anastomosis operations, reducing surgery time consumed, never requiring special technique of anastomosis. Therefore, we can draw a conclusion that it can be widely used in clinic.
