Objective To discuss the influence of acute stress response and the function of gastrointestinal tract recovery after usingω-3 fish oil fatty emulsion in the patients with gastrointestinal tract malignant tumor surgery. Methods Sixty patients with gastrointestinal tract malignant tumor surgery were divided into two groups randomly. All the patients were received radical operation, the patients with exploratory laparotomy, palliation excision and rechannel surgery, and benign polyps surgery were not accepted. All of the patients were assigned to receive the general TPN treatment and Enteral nutrition with equal nitrogen and calorie. The study group was treated withω-3 fish oil fatty emulsion additional (100ml/d) for 6 days after surgery while the control group using the Lipovenoes MCT injection. To compare the difference of IL-6 ,D-lactic acid, endotoxin and CRP levels in blood in the first day pre-operation and the first , third and six day after operation, the complication of infection and the time of gastrointestinal tract recovery. Results The level of IL -6 in the study group in the first day ,third day and sixth day after surgery (143.9±53.70)pg/ml, (250.9±48.32)pg/ml,(154.6±62.34pg/ml) rase much preveriously than the pre-surgery (137.6±42.1)pg/ml, while the control group after surgery (150.6±60.14) pg/ml, (280.8±56.40) pg/ml, (184.4±50.43pg/ml). Compare the levels in the three, sixth day ,the study group decreased much(P<0.05). The level of CRP in the study group in the first day, third day and sixth day after surgery were (36.51±7.98) mg/L, (49.65±8.63) mg/L and (30.73±5.85)mg/L, while the control (40.26±8.34)mg/L , (62.54±12.34) mg/L and (51.47±8.67)mg/L . Compare the level in the two group in the third, sixth day ,the study group decreased much (P<0.05). And the D- lactic acid in the control was much higher in the first day (8.40±1.77)μg/ml, the third day (6.34±3.54)μg/ml and the six day (1.59±0.74)μg/ml than the pre-surgery (0.58±0.14)μg/ml. The level of the D- lactic acidare in the study group in the first day , third day and six day after surgery were (6.21±1.05)μg/ml, (4.83±2.43)μg/ml and (1.14±0.410μg/ml, and the level in the first day, third day and six day is lower than the control (P<0.05), The endotoxin in the study group in the first ,third and sixth day were much lower than the control group. (P<0.05).There were higher significance in the IL-6 ,CRP, endotoxin and the D- lactic acid in the study grope while no significance in the complication of infection and the time of gastrointestinal tract recovery. Conclusion Usingω-3 fish oil fatty emulsion in the patients with gastrointestinal tract malignant tumor is security, and can release the acute stress response and the permeability of gastrointestinal tract but no significant influence to the function of gastrointestinal tract recovery.
