Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and side effects of treating the facial skin photoaging by the CO2 lattice laser and sum up the clinical treatment experience. Methods Select 30 patients who have completed 3 times treatment facial skin photoaging by the CO2 lattice laser from October 2008 to December 2010 in the department of cosmetic and dermatology of our hospital.According to Fitzpatrick skin type and skin wrinkles Fitzpatrick9 systems classify patients.The CO2 lattice laser use Wuhan Xinguang Electronics Co., Ltd production of CHX-100.According to the classification of facial skin photo aging, extent and shape,Select the appropriate CPG (computerized pattern generator) parameters:Pulse width of lms~10ms, micro-pulse energy of 10~60MJ, coverage from 0.3%to 1.5%.Mild skin photoaging scan once and moderate and severe skin photoaging viable scan twice.Jaw line area produce scars and pigment loss easily.so, scan once.3 times compose a course of treatment and the interval is 3 months.Results Total effective rate was 83% after three times treatment in the group of 30 patients. After treatment each time, the Pointlike scabs droped from 7 to 10 days.skin photoaging(GradeⅠ) in the treatment healed completely after one week, No infection, no pigmentation, no pigment loss and other complications; and the skin photoaging (GradeⅡ~Ⅲ) in the treatment healed completely after one or two weeks. Nine patients with erythema after the wound surface healed, and fadeaway after two or four weeks. Three patients in early phase had Local lighter pigmentation after cicatrization, but both fadeaway with an average of three months, no infection, no permanent pigment changes, no scar formation and other severe complications. After three times treament,13 (43%) patients significantly improved in Wrinkles, marking 6~9 score.12(40%)patients significantly improved in Wrinkles, marking 3~6 score. Five patients(17%) had no improvement in Wrinkles, marking score less than 3. Follow-up 3 months after a course of treatment, the satisfaction of patients were 80%. Conclusion CO2 laser lattice light had an effect on treating facial skin aging, with safety, few side effects and shorted recovery time.
