| Objective : In this article,we detected the expression of YAP and survivin in normal ovary tissue,serous papilary cystadenoma,borderline serous cystadenoma,and ovarian serous papilary cystadenocarinoma through immunohistochemical method;at the same time,detected the preoperative level of serum CA125,to explore the correlation and significance of them in serous papilary cystadenocarinoma.Methods:Surgical resected specimens were collected from NO.1 affiliated hospital of Dalian Medical University from Jaunary 2002 to April 2010,using immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of YAP and survivin in 10 cases of normal ovary tissues,10 cases of serous papilary cystadenoma,20 cases of borderline serous cystadenoma and 40 cases of ovarian serous papilary cystadenocarinoma.At the same time,detecting the serum value of CA125 before surgery through chemiluminescent immunoassay(CLIA).Results:1.50 percent of normal ovarian tissue showed a weak positive of YAP expression, The positive rates of YAP in borderline serous cystadenoma(85.00%) and serous papilary cystadenocarinoma(92.50%) were all significantly higher than that in normal ovary (50.00%),P<0.05;and there was significantly difference between the poorly-differentiated group(95.46%) and highly-moderately differentiated group(88.89%),P<0.05; although,the expression level all showed a increased trend from phase I-II(83.33%%) to phase III-â…£(96.43%), from the group without lymph node metastasis(92.00%) to the group with lymph node metastasis(93.33%),there were no statistical significances,P>0.05.And also the expression of YAP in serous papilary cystadenocarinoma was not related with patient's age,P>0.05.2.The positive rates of suvivin showed an increased trend from serous papilary cystadenoma(10.00%), borderline serous cystadenoma (15.00%) to serous papilary cystadenocarinoma(60%).There was statistical difference between borderline serous cystadenoma and serous papilary cystadenocarinoma,P<0.05. There was significantly difference between poorly differentiated degree group(82.16%) and highly-moderately differentiated degree group(29.41%),P<0.05.The positive rates of the expression of survivin showed a significantly increased inclination from the group without lymph node metastasis(44.00%) to the group with lymph node metastasis(88.67%). Althouth the positive rates of survivin in the group of phaseâ…¢-â…£(71.43%) was higher than that in phaseâ… -â…¡(33.33%),there was no statistical difference,P>0.05.There was no significant correlation of the expression of survivin with patient's age, P>0.05.â’ŠThe value of serum CA125 in serous papilary cystadenocarinoma (100.00%) was significantly higher than that in borderline serous cystadenoma(25.00%) and papilary cystadenoma(20.00%), P<0.05.The value of CA125 in the group of phaseâ…¢-â…£was significantly higher than that in phaseâ… -â…¡,and there was significant difference between poorly differentiated degree groupand highly-moderately differentiated degree group; The value of CA125 showed a significantly increased inclination from the group without lymph node metastasis to the group with lymph node metastasis,which were all with statistical differences, P<0.05.There was no significant correlation of the value of CA125 with the patient's age, P>0.05.â’‹In 40 cases of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma,the expression of YAP and survivin was positively correlated,r=0.494,P<0.05;and the value of CA125 was positively correlated with the expression of YAP (r=0.512,P<0.05)and Survivin(r=0.378, P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The positive expression rates of YAP expression in borderline serous cystadenoma and serous papilary cystadenocarinoma was significantly higher than that in normal ovary ; the expression of YAP in poorly differentiated degree group was significantly higer than that in highly-moderately differentiated degree group which suggests that YAP may take parts in the formation and development of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma .2.The positive rates of suvivin in serous papilary cystadenocarinoma was significantly higher than that in serous papilary cystadenoma and borderline serous cystadenoma . There was significantly difference between poorly differentiated degree group and highly-moderately differentiated degree group,between the group with lymph node metastasis and the group without lymph node metastasis,suggesting that survivin may act as a oncogene involving in the occurrence,development and lymph node metastasis of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma.3.The value of CA125 was significantly higher than that in serous papilary cystadenoma and borderline serous cystadenoma.And the value of CA125 in the group of phaseâ…¢-â…£, poorly differentiated degree group ,lymph nodes metastasis group were significantly higher than those in the group of phaseâ… -â…¡,high differentiated degree group and no lymph nodes metastasis group respectively.4.The expression of YAP and survivin in 40 cases of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma was posivitly correlated.The value of CA125 was positively related with the positive expression of YAP and Survivin.YAP may act as an oncogene which may induce the expression of survivin . They played an important role in inhibting cell apoptosis and promoting cell proliferation,which may increase the value of CA125,participating in the the formation,development and metastasis of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma.United detection the expression of YAP,survivin in ovary tissue and the value of serum CA125 may provide a more valuable basis for the early diagnosis of serous papilary cystadenocarinoma. |
