A Study Of Health Condition And Health Related Behaviors Of Residents' In The Economic Development Zone Of A City

Objective: This study investigated the health condition, health related behaviors and theirs'related factors of economic development zone of a city, and provided the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the health level of residents.Methods: Questionnaire method is used in the study. In order to perform field investigation, we will build a suitable health related behavior questionnaire for residents of the economic development zone of a city. We will apply descriptive analysis, chi square test to study and explore whether there are difference in health condition and health related behaviors; we will also use logistic regression analysis to analyse the relation of health condition and health related behaviors; using Logistic regression to study the influence factors of health.Results: 1. Health: The BMI degree of residents has significant differences between different age, marital status, education, employment, family children count; residents with different age, education, employment and family children count has significant differences in hypertension rates; the hyperlipidaemia rates of residents has significant differences between different city and countryside, age and employment groups. 2. Health related behaviors: residents with different gender has significant differences in smoking behaviors; residents with different gender has significant differences in drinking behaviors; the sleep of residents has significant differences between different age, education, employment and family children count groups; residents with different age, family children count, and family population has significant differences in exercise behaviors. 3. The relationship between health and health related behavior: theχ2 analysis found: overweight or obesity is related to sleep and exercise; hypertension is related to sleep and exercise; hyperlipidaemia is related to smoke, drink and sleep. 4. Logistic regression analysis of health: age, marital status are risk factors of overweight or obesity; age, sleep are risk factors of hypertension, employment is a protective factor of hypertension; city and countryside, drink and sleep are risk factors of hyperlipidaemia, employment is a protective factor of hypertension.Conclusion: 1. Residents'major health problem are metabolic syndrome, heart disease, gallbladder disease, ophthalmology disease and thyroid disease. 2. Residents'health related behaviors are good, but still need to improve. 3. Their health condition and health related behaviors have consanguineous relation and are affected by factor of demology. 4. Residents Should strengthen health education, improve healthy awareness, promote healthy behaviors, advocate good advocate good and pay attention to the role of community and family in health education.
