Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To study the feasibility of the thrombolysis therapy in cardiopulmonary resuscitation of the acute pulmonary embolism. Methods:Analyzing the 23 cases with sudden death caused by acute pulmonary embolism from 2005.9 to 2010.9 retrospectively,of which,12 cases were treated with thrombolysis,11 cases were not treated with thrombolysis during cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Compared the return of spontaneous circulation and the survivorship between the two groups. Results:There were 8 cases with the return of spontaneous circulation and 5 cases with survivorship,7 cases with death in the group with thrombolysis.2 cases with the return of spontaneous circulation and 1 cases with survivorship,10 cases with death in the group without thrombolysis. The return of spontaneous circulation and the survivorship rate in the group with thrombolysis were significantly higher than those in the group without thrombolysis. There were significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusions:The trombolytic therapy during the CPR of acute pulmonary embolism could raise the return of spontaneous circulation and the survivorship and have a good clinical effect.
