Clinical Study Of Treatment Of30Patients With The Cellulitis Of Head And Neck

Objective: Analysis of the head and neck cellulitis clinical characteristics,early diagnosis and treatment, strengthen hygiene promotion, and preventionand control, reduce the incidence of a disease, improve the clinical cure rate.Methods: A retrospective study from2006January to2011December inChina-Japan union Hospital of JiLin university admitted30patients of head andneck cellulites, to analyze their clinical symptoms and laboratory data,diagnosis and treatment.Results:30cases of head and neck cellulitis patients,27cases recoveredby the comprehensive treatment,1patient died. Two cases of cured patientsdischarged from hospital,after six months of follow-up,1patient died,1casesagain recovered after treatment.Conclusion:(1) Department of Otolaryngology Head and neck cellulitis as severe acuteinfectious disease, the incidence of sudden, progress is swift and violent, easilycausing dyspnea suffocation. Such as the timely and appropriate and reasonabletreatment, can achieve clinical cure purpose without sequela. The mainpathogen of this disease is Staphylococcus aureus.(2) Head and neck cellulitis caused mainly by oral odontogenic infectiondisease,Odontogenic infection disease caused a longer course of disease,serious illness, treatment is required to completely remove the causative source.(3) Adjunctive hyperbaric oxygen therapy method to shorten the course ofdisease, promote wound healing also very effective.
