Objective:Investigate the relationship between the serum calcitonin (CT) level and lung cancer.Method:Serum CT levels were detected in 67 cases lung cancer patients 30 benign lung disease patients and 30 healthy controls by ELISA.Rsults:Serum CT levels of lung cancer patients was higher significantly than controls (t=2.865,p<0.05); difference of CT levels were significant in lung cancer patients before and after surgery treatment (t=2.45,p<0.05), there was significant difference in CT levels before and after effective chemotherapy (t=3.34,p<0.05).Conclusions:The level of serum CT is an important indicator in the diagnosis of lung cancer, evaluation and treatment efficacy. |
