The Magnoliaceous plants are the oldest known angiospermous pollen and commonly used for Landscaping Plants, in the pharmaceutical, chemical product development and biodiversity conservation research has a very important significance. This paper had studied the extraction and composition analysis of essential oil of 24 Species of Magnoliaceous plants which involved 10 Species of Michelia, 11 Species of Manglietia, 1 Species of kmeria, 1 Species of Parakmeria, 1 Species of Talauma. The Chemical Constituents of the 24 kinds of essential oil are first tested in our country. In this paper, the essential oil of Parakmeria lotungensis and Kmeria septentrionalis Dandy and Talauma hodgsonii were obtained by steam distillation and were isolated and identified the chemical components by GC-MS and determine the relative percentage content of the extract by GC. The results showed the essential oil of Parakmeria lotungensis can used as grain protectant whose content ofβ-phellandrene was up to 52.90%.The essential oil of Kmeria septentrionalis was rich in Eucalyptol and expected to used as food flavor in the Lozenges paddle and artificial mint. The composition of monoterpenes of the essential oil of Talauma hodgsonii is very similar to those of lepaloine and expected to used as a new Natural transdermal absorption enhancer. In this paper, the essential oil of 10 Species of Michelia were obtained by steam distillation and were isolated and identified the chemical components by GC-MS and determine the relative percentage content of the extract by GC. 150 compounds were identified from that essential oil. The results showed that the component number of the essential oil of the Michelia sirindhorniae (Noot. et Chal.) N. H. Xia et X. H. Zhangj is the least, only 17; the component number of the essential oil of the Michelia platypetala is the highest, up to 38. The monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes were the main components of The 10 Species of Michelia except the essential oil of Michelia sirindhorniae (Noot. et Chal.) N. H. Xia et X. H. Zhangj and Michelia shiluensis whose main components were sesquiterpenes. Analysis on the Constituents of the essential oil showed that the essential oil of Michelia aenea is rich in beta-Citronellol and can used as grain protectant and the raw material of the flavor. The essential oil of Michelia platypetala is rich in Caryophyllene and can used in the treatment of depression and anxiety. The essential oil of Michelia pachycarpa is rich in Elemen and can be used in the Production of national two class of anti-cancer agent elemene capsule. The essential oil of Michelia fulgens is rich in (-)-Spathulenol and can be used in the production of antiasthmatic expectorant drugs. The essential oil of Michelia fadouensis and the others can be used to flavor, fragrance and synthesis of high-grade fragrance raw materials. In addition, we do Comparative study on the Common components of the 10 kinds of plant essential oil in order to provide a scientific basis for the phylogenetic relationships of Michelia. In this paper, the essential oil of 11 Species of Manglietia were obtained by steam distillation and were isolated and identified the chemicalcomponents by GC-MS and determine the relative percentage content of the extract by GC. 155 compounds were identified from that essential oil. The results showed that the component number of the essential oil of the Manglietia dandyi is the least, only 21; the component number of the essential oil of the Manglietia forrestii is the highest, up to 34. Analysis on the Constituents of the essential oil showed that the essential oil of Manglietia insignis and Manglietia miechangensis and Manglietia calcarea are all rich in trans-Nerolidol and can used as Pharmaceutical intermediates, food additives and raw materials perfume. The essential oil of Manglietia grandis is rich in D-Limonene and Benzene, 1-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl) - and can used as medical materials made of compound limonene capsules or expectorant, antitussive drugs. The essential oil of Manglietia grandis is rich in Caryophyllene oxide and is expected to be applied in anti-corrosion, anti-cancer, antimalarial, spasmolytic and antibacterial field. The essential oil of Manglietia fadouensis Lawet Zhouined contains rich caryophyllene and is expected to be used for the treatment of depression and anxiety. The essential oil of Manglietia pachyclada and Manglietia forrestii and Manglietia nucifera and Manglietia aromatic can be used for flavouring composition or fragrances. In addition, we do Comparative study on the Common components of the 10 kinds of plant essential oil in order to provide a scientific basis for the phylogenetic relationships of Manglietia.
