The Correlation Of Plasma Levels Of Calcitonin Gene-related Peptide And Neuropeptide Y With Extent Of Coronary Atherosclerosis

Objective:To investigate the relationship of plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y with extent of coronary atherosclerosis,according to the calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y concentration of coronary artery disease group and normal group which divided by coronary angiography.Method:112cases were selected in hospital,who were for three generations of yunnan's living for a long time and confirmed by coronary angiography (CAG). Exclusion criteria were with myocardial infarctionh ypertention diebetes cranial vascular diseaseand other heart diseases such as dilated cardiomyopathy hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy and rheumatic heart disease etc, hepatic function or renal function dysfunction and with infection, malignant tumor, heart failure, hematological system or iminunologic system diseases.All cases were conducted with34cases in normal group,23cases (1-4points) in mild narrow group.21cases(5-9points) in moderately narrow group,34cases(>10points) in severe stricture group, according to calculate the sum of integrals by Gensini integral.Selected patients will be recorded its general height age blood fat blood sugar fibrinogen and CAG results. ELISA (Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.ELISA) was adopted to evaluate serum adiponectin concentrations.All data processed by spssl7.0package statistically.Result:①The plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y of mild narrow group are32.48±3.49ng/L and298.29±29.97ng/L.the plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y of moderately narrow group are27.16±1.84ng/L and343.21±19.34ng/L. the plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y of severe stricture group are23.29±1.73ng/L and389.99±26.68ng/L, the plasma levels of calcitonin gene-related peptide and neuropeptide Y are35.66±2.23ng/L and261.21±24.22ng/L in normal group.The levels of CGRP of severe stricture group is significantly lower than mild and moderately narrow group (P<0.01), The levels of CGRP of others groups are lower than those in the control group (P<0.01), The levels of NPY of severe stricture group of NPY are higher than mild and moderate narrow group (P<0.05), The levels of NPY of others groups are higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).②he plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio of the control group is0.136±0.003, The plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio of mild narrow group is0.112±0.024, The plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio of moderate narrow group0.079±0.009,The plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio of severe stricture is0.059±0.006, The plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio of severe stricture is significantly lower than mild and moderately narrow group (P<0.01), The ratio of CGRP and NPY of others groups are higher than those of the control group (P<0.01).③Examing the correlation of CGRP and Gensini integral with Pearson correlation analysis, the result is r=-0.759(P<0.01), the differences are statistically significant, CGRP and Gensini integral also shows significant negative correlation. Examing the correlation of NPY and Gensini integral with Pearson correlation analysis, the result is r=0.882(P<0.05), the differences are statistically significant. NPY and Gensini integral also shows significant positive correlation. Examing the correlation of ratio and Gensini integral with Pearson correlation analysis, the result is r=-0.783(P<0.01), the difference was statistically significant., ratio and Gensini integral also shows significant negative correlation.Conclusiun:It is observed that concentration of CGRP and NPY are closely relevant with coronary atherosclerosis, and it reflects the extent of coronary atherosclerosis, the more serious coronary atherosclerosis lesion, the lower plasma levels of CGRP concentrations,and the higher plasma levels of NPY. The plasma levels of CGRP and NPY ratio negatively correlates to the extent of coronary atherosclerosis,it is explained that the plasma levels of CGRP and NPY's secreting are imbalance in coronary atherosclerosis'occurring and development. Therefore, the plasma levels of CGRP and NPY can be used as a nontraumatic indicators at a certain extent to guide clinical diagnosis and evaluate the coronary heart disease.
