Objective:Through the detection of125I seeds for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (CNE-2) cell viability, apoptosis and cell cycle effects, To further explore the125I seeds or brachytherapy with permanent implantation in the treatment of advanced or recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma and provide experimental basis. Methods:Cultivation of CNE-2in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line, through the study of125I seeds in close distance irradiation of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line by MTT assay, cell viability, PI analysis of the125I seeds of low dose continuous irradiation effect on cell cycle, Annexin V-FITC labeling method for the determination of cell apoptosis.Results:125I seeds in close proximity with low dose continuous irradiation can directly kill nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2cells, the inhibition of CNE-2cell proliferation, inhibition rate increased with the increase of cumulative dose. But also can change the nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2cell cycle distribution, block of cells in G2/M phase, decreased cell proliferation, induced nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2cell apoptosis, tumor suppression. And on cell cycle arrest and effect on cell apoptosis in particle irradiation during persistence..Conclusion:TPhoto shoot125I seeds in nasopharyngeal carcinoma CNE-2cells, can effectively reduce cell viability, increased apoptosis, inhibition of cell proliferation.
