Solfeggio and ear-training are capstone courses with the theories and techniques combined. They are among the basic courses for the music englightment instruction and play an important role. In light of the overall characteristics of the solfeggio and ear-training, besides the mastery of the musical theories and techniques, the students have to get awareness of the musical history and get trainings on music appreciation, as well as learn the knowledge about the music aesthetics and music education, during which students are supposed to apply the theoretical knowledge to daily practice. There are a lot to be explored in the discipline of solfeggio and ear-training.This paper elaborates the adaption of music aesthetics in the instruction of solfeggio and ear-training from the following asppects. First, the development of the discipline of solfeggio and ear-training as well as its importance is introduced. Some reforms and innovations for the instruction of solfeggio and ear-training are proposed, where the existing problems during the instruction process are discussed and solutions are proposed. Second, the contents and features of music aethetics are described, with its fuctions and importances emphasized. And the cultivation of music aethetic awareness is discussed in the perspectives of the student interests, music perception, apprehension. The contrast between ancient music aethetics and modern music aethetics is conducted. Third, based on the contents and features of solfeggio and ear-training, the demonstration of tone, rhythm, harmony, melody and style in music aethetics are discussed. The development of solfeggio and ear-training is discussed from the view of music aethetics, through which the students may be fully motivated. Fourth, as a result of the rapid development of modern society and advancement of thenologies, the employment of multimedia has become popular at classes. And some musical softwares are adopted at musical classes. The paper illustrated the proper use of the multimedia in solfeggio and ear-training, to promote the continous development of the discipline of solfeggio and ear-training. Fifth, considering the differences between adults and children in the understanding of music knowledge, sensitivitiy to music, awareness of music aethetics and the performance at classes, the children's music perception and creativity are addressed specifically. It is suggested that the perception and aethetical awareness should be involved during the solfeggio and ear-training.
