Taoism has an important role in Chinese history. The thought of Taoism has a big change which from natural thought to social needs. Especially the found of'4 by the Yellow Emperor'support this theory. The paper mainly talked about the change of Taoism, and the huang-lao school was taken into practice which has a important role in the early Western Han Dynasty. At the same time, Confucian was revival. After Qin destruction, Confucian suffered a crushing blow. But in the early Western Han Dynasty, a lot of politicians have mixed the thought of Taoism and Confucian. The theory such as'Wuwei'and'Dao',which were widely used in the Confucian scholars.Although they permeate each other, the nature of them never changed. They borrowed each theory to support themselves. So , at the special time, there is a special form in the academic.The paper is mainly talk about the reason of this phenomenon which not only in the academic area but also in the political practice.
