The Study On Huang-Lao School And Literature Thought In The Early Han Dynasty

This disssertation focuses on the connetion between Huang-Lao thought and literature in Hart dynasty.Although the study on Huang-Lao thought in the several field such as philosophy and history has made a great progress,the scholars pay little attention on literature which is infected by Huang-Lao thought in the early of Han dynasty.It is really a pity compared with the research on Lao-Zi and Zhuang-Zi.This article has a try to fill in this blank by expatiating the infecton on literature in the beginning of Han dynasty from Huang-Lao thought.The whole paper is composed of five chapters.Chapter one is introduction which gives a view of the study achievements of the connection between Huang-Lao thought and literature during the lately century.Although the study on Huang-Lao thoughts in the several field such as philosophy and history has made a great progress,the scholars pay little attention on lterature which is infected by Huang-Lao thought in the early of Han dynasty.This article relates to Huang-Lao thoughts from literature and in reverse.Chapter two summarizes Huang-Lao thought which expands theoretics and its history in pre-Qin dynasty.There are two important points including polictical thoughts and discussion on expression,writing,and inspiration represented by Huang-Loa Bo Shu and GuanZi in pre-Qin's literature which were inherited and developed by literature in the beginning of Han Dynasty.Chapter Three macroscopically analyses that Huang-Lao thought diffused in Han Dynasty,which describes a historical picture about Huang-Lao thought developing by analysing the reasons of Economy,Politics,and culture and the representation by learning, Politics,and literators' ethos,and analyzes social and historical reasons of the connection between literature and Huang-Lao thought.Chapter four is related to the representation of Huang-Lao thoughts in literature in the beginning of Han dynasty.Many works such as Xin Yu,Huai Nan Zi,Dao De Shuo in Xin Shu,Qi Fa,Han Shi Wai Zhuan,and Shi Ji exhibite the penetration and infection from Huang-Lao thought.Huai Nan Zi's inclined to LaoZi thoughts,airing Taoism.The works,such as Xin Yu and Han Shi Wai Zhuan,aired Confucianism.Although all these works have different inclination,they all absorb the ideas and methods in Huang-Lao thought.Chapter Five focuses on that Huang-Lao thought influences literature in the beginning of Han dynasty.On account of Huang-Lao regards Tao as the highest theoretical category,the discussion on the connection between Tao and Liu Jing,Tao and expression appeared in the literature works in the beginning of Han dynansty,which played a leading role of Doctrine of Tao and Ontology.Huang-Lao scholars rebuilded LaoZi's Taoism,endowed Tao with realistic character,placed Tao in the universe,or considered the universe as a body of Tao which can be experienced and observed by humans.All these made a certain impact on artistic ideal of including the universe and human.Otherwise,some works in the beginning of Han dynasty revealled some literature notion and claim when they aired Huang-Lao philosophy and politics.The part of conclusion makes a summary of a system of works of which subject matter indicates Wu-wei politics,following Cao Cao'Dui diu,Liu Zong-yuan's Zhong Shu Guo Tuo Tuo Zhuan,Su Shi's Gai Gong Tang Ji,ect.The reserch methods of the disssertation makes a connection between Huang-Lao thought and literature based on a large of literature unearthed from ancient tombs in Han dynasty.There are two central mothods including digging the literature thought out from these documents and combinning their thought and literature,especially literature notion and claim.Because of literature unearthed is more trustworthy than document handed down,it can give a original sight of the history of literature which is a very trait of this paper.
