Meiling Road had grew up in the Qin dynasty and developed in Han, Wei and Jin dynasties, flourished in Tang, Song,Yuan, Ming and the prophase of Qing dynasties, declined and died down after The Opium War with opened five parts and opened the railway from Guangzhou to Hankou. The historical role of WuJing Road was inferior to Meiling Road, and WuJing Road was opened up in the Wei-Jin period due to migration of people from North to South, which play a role until the Republic of China, but sank to the water bottom with built Kong Jiang reservoir and irrigation system after the People's Republic of China was set up.In ancient times, Meiling Road had three passageways in the ridge section of Meiling, namely Hengpu Road, Xiao Meiguan Road and Meiguan Ancient Road, These three passageways had occurred a process of optimizing changes from West to East, what as the result of natural factors, socio-economic factors, such as integrated the role and impact. The Zhongzhan City and Zhuji Lane on Meiling Road could hardly grow up and develop without the important geographic location they occupied, and that they grew up and developed was after Meiling Road had entered the prosperous and thrived finals, with the decline of Meiling Road, prosperous Zhongzhan City and Zhuji Lane also followed the decline. The Road and Traffic of Dayuling area in ancient for safeguarding national unity and social stability in the Lingnan area, promotion of Lingnan area with inland and central China on the economic relations and cultural exchanges, as well as promoting the opening up and development of Lingnan area, had made important contributions.
