Study On The Chinese Verbs That Indicate The Motion Of Mouth

The Chinese vocabulary is an mirror that can reflects the charateristics of Chinese in many aspect:such as the semanteme, grammar, usage, etc. Meanwhile, verbs are an very important part of speech of Chinese vocabularies, which can change flexibly in the sentences. Verbs that indicate the motion of "mouth" (VM for short)are a special and typical type of verbs. This essay takes the VM as a target, discusses the VM specifically and roundly, using some methods like document research, relative analysis, the combination of description and analysis, etc. This essay aims at giving some references of the specific research of verbs, and at the same time giving some scientific and useful methods of teaching Chinese as a second language(TCSL) and information processing.In the part of semanteme, the essay gives a definite definition of VM and classifies them in eight wortfeld semem. Describes and analysis the semems of all VMs, finds out the high-frequency semems. Meanwhile, the essay discusses the distribution and characters of sememes, explains the route of semantic derivation.In the part of grammar and usage, the essay analysis the entire frequency of VM in the corpus. Taking the high-frequency VMs as an example, discusses the the collocation situation of VMs, inculuding the collocaion of two words next to VM and the collocation of verb-object afterwards. Then we point out the formation ability of VM-morhpemes, such as the word and the fixed phrases formation of VMs. Finally, we discuss the context and flexible usage of VM.In the part of applied research, the essay gives some suggestions to the "classified-voeabulary-teaching" in TCSL. Compare with the <An outline of HSK words and characters>, the essay gives some references to the improvement of this outline. We put forward the fundamental teaching plan of VMs combining with the principles of TCSL's vocabulary teaching. Besides, this essay helps the auto-dividing and marking of Chinese information processing and machine translation.The research of VM is an innovation of verbs'research. The research methods that used in this essay has an inspiring significance for the study of specific classification of verbs. The essay gives some new ideas of vocabulary resarch and compilation of teaching materials in TCSL, and at the same time provides some materials for the future study.
