The category of spatial motion is one of the most critical categories in human thinking of different peoples around the world.However,many languages express this category differently for many different reasons,especially because of cultural differences between nations.This paper attempts to find out the similarities and differences between Chinese directional verbs and Russian prefixed motion verbs,which is an expression of spatial motion in Chinese and Russian.In addition to the grammatical differences,there are also ambiguities in the semantics of Chinese directional verbs and Russian prefixed motion verbs: in addition to the basic meaning of direction,there are a large number of extended meanings,which bring bid difficulties to Russian students in the process of learning Chinese.In this regard,based on the comparative analysis of Chinese directional verbs and Russian motion verbs with prefixes and the analysis of the survey results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of Chinese directional verbs for Russian students.The introduction mainly introduces the research status of the selected topic in China and abroad,the research purpose and significance of this paper,the research scope and object,the research method and the innovation of the research.The second chapter is a comprehensive classification and description of Chinese directional verbs from the syntactic and semantic levels,focusing on the scope,nature,semantics,and sentence pattern features of directional verbs,that is,the characteristics of directional verbs as predicates and directional verbs as complements.The third chapter is a comprehensive classification and description of Russian prefixed motion verbs from the syntactic and semantic levels,mainly focusing on verb prefixes and the characteristics of motion verbs,their basic spatial and extended meanings,and their grammatical expressions.The fourth chapter is based on the comparison of Chinese directional verbs and Russian prefixed motion verbs based on the research knowledge in the above three chapters.Although Chinese directional verbs and Russian prefixed motion verbs have both basic and extended meanings,but the meaning expressed by Chinese directional verbs does not correspond exactly to the Russian motion verbs,so the main concern is to determine all the expressions of the Chinese directional verbs that correspond in Russian.The fifth chapter is the error analysis of Russian students learning Chinese directional verbs,and the teaching suggestions for Russian students who are learning Chinese outside China,mainly focusing on the word order when the directional verbs and objects coexist.The conclusion part of the thesis draws conclusions on the basis of comparing and summarizing the characteristics,meanings and functions of Chinese directional verbs and Russian prefixed motion verbs,research on Russian students' use of Chinese directional verbs,error analysis and teaching suggestions,and points out further research direction.
