The third part described the research methods, introducing the standard of novels. The textbooks were selected from the more commonly used in domestic. While the novels were selected from the modern high reputation, the more character relationship, the background with daily life in Japan. The fourth part researched the Japanese apology expression from various aspects. Firstly explained the meaning of apology expression, and then investigating several sets of Japanese textbooks in China. Due to the limitation of the textbooks, selected apology expression examples from several modern novels in Japan as well. Then discussed the factors and its cultural background. Finally summed up the above contents, and putting forward the future research topic.Through the analysis of Japanese apology expression, the following points were made clear. The apology expression has a high utilization rate in Japan. It is to be used not only for apologize, but also used on occasions of greeting, etc. It is only used as a polite language here. Because of the wide usage scale, many people think Japanese apology is overmuch, but not in the form of their heart. However, we have known that every country has its own apology expression way indeed through analysis. Japanese apology expression often uses the fixed expressions. And different apology expression is used in different situations.
