Lin bai is one of the Chinese female authors who are rising sharply in 1990s. She has a style of her own which distinguishes her from other new gerational authors, she is like a bleeding rose with the era's imprint and the life's misery,describing some women who gets hurt one by one and their stories which are rarely known by people with her sensitivity. the situation in the end of the 1980s is restless, the intellectuals use all sorts of methods to express their enthusiam or indifference about this era, but Lin bai seems to go behind of that trend. She uses almost all of her literary passion and talent to narrate women's stories. With her specail female features and her own emotional experience, she writes some topics that most people are not willing to talk about. Her terms are ornate and beautiful, and every word is infilterred her truthful feelings. She seems like communicating with her shadow, a lot of monologue in her novels is her soliloquy. She writes emotion,misery,nice and misterous things, and also writes ugly things. She takes away her pain and cures her injuries by herself in a half closed space. though she does not reach even more grand topic and narration, she describes the dilemma in the real world that women are facing indeed,without exaggeration and affectation. This article is devided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction. It summarises the main situation of the Chinese literature from the end of 1980s to 1990s. The female author Lin bai flies her own colors through the competitive field of literature. This chapter generally introduces her work's contents,the overall trend and characteristics.The second chapter expounds the female sensation which is running through Lin bai's work, and states the feature of feminism in her novels. First, analyses the female who are hurt and insulted, and elaborates thoese female who are rejected and isolated by the society and the domination of the male; second, analyse the other type of the female who are active and optimistic in her novels. This kind of female characters refuses to be quiet, they are seaching for new opportunities to escape the reality; and third, expounds<The Recond Of The Women's Chat>, analyses the description of the women's daily lives in the village. This chaper expatiates and analyses the obvious female characteristics which are expressed by Lin bai in her novels.The third chapter expounds the regional mysticlsm which appears in Lin bai's work and her. peripherization of writing. Her writing is mostly affected by her howetown——"the gate of hell", she rejects her hometown, but meanwhile she feels like being reluctant to leave her hometown for good. The southwestern special region makes her work mysterious, and determines her narrative style of the lowest rung and peripherization of writing.The fourth chapter elaborates Lin bai's narcissism and the description about the friendship of the same sex. The self-talk and body obsession of the female presents the narcissism. That causes her acquiesce about the friendship of the same sex even the homosexuality.The last chapter is the epilogue, analyzing her writing features generally.Lin bai is a controversial writer, her personal style and her writing features make her work accepted by some people, but still make herself to blame. But nowadays, she seems to go far from the personalized writing, and put her view into more colorful and wonderful world. This is what she jumps into the society.
