The Northern Expeditions in 1920s aiming at the unification of china and the realization of democratic politics were the military actions with the significant of anti-imperialist and anti-feudal,it was led by Sun Zhong-shan and Kuomintang, which brought the revolution from south to north. The Communist Party of China based on KMT-CPC cooperation showed the attitude of support or opposition toward the every Northern Expedition, affecting it significantly. Generally speaking, the attitude of the Communist Party of China toward the Northern Expeditions had a change from divergence to agreement. In between, the major leaders, local Party organizations, the Central Committee, there existed a certain divergence in dealing with the northern expedition of Kuomintang. Later, under the pressure of Comintern and Kuomintang, attitude of CPC became unifying. At the beginning,CPC was against northern expedition. Later, with the development of domestic situation, the attitude of CPC changed actively. But the leaders of the Communist Party of China became negative again owing to the Zhongshan naval incident and Finishing DangWuAn. Finally,CPC took a stand for it.The attitude of CPC was mainly affected both by Comintern and Kuomintang. As far as Comintern,it not only had democratic centralism but also direct Chinese revolution by the institution and delegates. CPC was affected both by the propaganda of KMT and Borodin, who was the delegate of Comintern and the Political Adviser of KMT. Therefore the change of the attitude of CPC toward northern expedition was due to KMT and Comintern. This also caused Right opportunism. The attitude of CPC,to a certain extent, also affected the decisions of Comintern and the military actions of KMC. Meanwhile, for CPC, there existed major mistakes to northern expedition, which also brought about experience and lessons and precipitated CPC to learn the laws of Chinese revolution.
