Jian Jiang, one of the famous "four senior monks in Early Qing Dynasty"and the leading painter of "Xin'an School", has open a brand-new chapter in the history of Chinese Paining. His paintings are characterized as landscape with a cold and desolate atmosphere,and also are indicating the attitude of proud loneliness and pure freedom, which has made him a model with many followers in later generations.This dissertation is aiming at the analysis of the scheme construction of Jian Jiang's landscape paintings, its characteristcs, its basic types and its forming reasons. The focus is on the the practical value to the explorative and creative activities of contemporary artists. Besides, the writer of the paper, who is also an art practitioner, will give his interpretation of Jian Jiang's works, the reflection and inspiration he got from the scheme construction of those paintings, which is useful to his own art creation.
