Ancient Snow-covered plateau was magnificent and beautiful as well as miraculous. Brave and intelligent Tibetan nationality create distinct national characteristic and regional feature of Tibetan Buddhism model's art on the roof of the world. Tibetan Buddhism has lots of gods, which are odd image, and the contexts of statue are rich and colorful. The material of model could be mud, stone, mood, copper and so on. Among those Buddhism's statues, Sakyamuni is the most famous Buddhism for people. This paper will compare the features of Buddhism's statues in order to analyze and clarify the style of Buddhism in different period.The art of making Buddhism's statue in Tubo period is one of highly representative period. In this period, the economic civilization of Tubo dynasty is blooming. At the same time, they have frequently contact with neighboring regions. All of phenomenon tend to be big development and harmonious. Buddhism arts took root in Tibetan since the introduction of Buddhism, and then develop a volume of resplendent history of Tibetan Buddhism.Tibetan border on other countries surrounding Himalayas Mountains, since introduction of Buddhism, Tobu dynasty sent people to India go on a pilgrimage for Buddhist scriptures many times and invited eminent monks from other countries to disseminate the Dharma and translate the scriptures. Lots of foreign craftsman were invited to participate in building temples and making Buddhism's statues, thus the skill was taught to Tibetan craftsman. In the period of Tubo, Sontzen Gampo had marriage with Tang dynasty's princess, Wen Cheng princess and Bo Er Chi Zun princesses, those who brought 12 and 8 years old Sakyamuni's statues. Large amount of Indian Buddhism's statues flowed in Tibetan, which have become valuable and precious Buddha treasure. This had profound influence on the art of making Buddhism's statues. Therefore, Buddhism's statues appeared distinct exterior domain's feature due to the impact of foreign cultural.This paper will compare and analyze the features of Buddhism's statues among Tibetan in Tubo period, Gandhara in India and Tang Dynasty so as to illustrate the virtue reasons for the differences of Buddhism's statues in different districts.Gandhara art was born in northwest of subcontinent India (now is Pakistan). It integrated diverse Buddhism's art from India, Greece, Roman and Iran based on its unique demography and cultural environment. Gandhara was introduced in Dunhuang through the Silk Road, and had impact on Tibetan and China. Thanks to the influences of different national culture, the art of Buddhism's statues formed each features and had era style. In Tang Dynasty, Buddhism's statues had grave and profound sculpt, dignity and elegant romantic charm, exquisite and ostentatious decoration as well as excellent and skillful skill, which made Buddhism's style present dignified and graceful generous. In contrast to Tibetan Buddhism's statues in the same period, this completely presented another style and features. In the third part of this paper, author will talk more about similarities and difference between Gandhara in Tibetan and Gandhara in Tang Dynasty. The first part and second part will discuss the emergence of Buddhism's statues and the changes of Buddhism's modeling in different districts and different period.The last part of this paper will have comprehensive conclusion on the whole paper.The Comparison of modeling features on Buddhism's statues will integrate iconology, history, ethnology and other subjects through the aspects of time and space to specifically analyze the changes of the features of Buddhism's statues. According to analyze and compare Buddhism's statues in Tubo period, India and Tang Dynasty, thus disclose plentiful culture underlying Buddhism's statues and disclose the multiple reasons about differences in different districts.
