Fragments of Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology written by Zhou Xunchu was copied and pulbished by Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House in 2000, named as Compilation of Variorum to Wenxuan a Hand-Written Copy in Tang Dynasty. Since then, domestic research on Wenxuan entered into a new prosperous stage. But in the latest ten years, domestic research on Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology has been unbalanced and unsystymatic, which is not given corresponding attention. As one of the important annotations in the fragments of Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology, relevant thesis on Lu Shanjing's notes to Wenxuan are little found in the literary circle except from Yu Wanli's On Lu Shanjing's notes in the Compilation of Variorum to Wenxuan a Hand-Written Copy in Tang Dynasty, Xiang Zonglu's On Lu Shanjing's notes After Titling Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology and Wang Youcai's On the Characteristics and the Gains and Loss of Lu Shanjing's Notes to Wenxuan. Therefore, it is very necessary to make a comprehensive and systematical research on Lu Shanjing's notes to Wenxuan and unfold the relationship between Lu Shanjing's notes and those of other commenters such as Li Shan. In this paper the discussions will be presented in the following three aspects. First, due to excessive advocation of Lu Shanjing's notes to Wenxuan, there exists biased understanding and no completely systematical research. Therefore, on the basis of enough collection of Lu Shanjing's notes, through comparison of Lu Shanjing's notes and Li Shan and Wu Chen notes, this paper will unfold their relationship and make a summary. Second, through careful investigation of Lu Shanjing's notes in the Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology, it is discovered that Lu Shanjing's notes show greatly distinct characteristics of the times, tend to approve names of objects, events, historical facts and laws and institutions, favor text search and semantic interpretation, and explore creation reasons and moral principles on the basis of clear and coherent contexts. Third, starting from several opinions in the literal cycle, through comparison of Lu Shanjing's notes in the Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology, Lu Shanjing's notes and Lu Shanjing's notes in the edition, it is found that there are many trails left in the edition. Therefore, it can be concluded that Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology once appeared in China and further its writing can be inferred, and make necessary discussions about the production of Lu Shanjing's notes and its relationship with Collected Annotations on Literary Anthology.
