Since his first novel"Forever Young"was published in 1953, Wang Meng has been walking in parallel with the Contemporary Chinese Literature for over half a century. And he stills keeps up vigorous creative passion today, which makes he an evergreen tree in contemporary literature. Since he returned during this period, his status as Godfather in literature were enhanced with the endless artistic creation. At the same time with his profound insight to life and extraordinary wisdom and talent he passes in through various cultural fields freely. Wang Meng is so unique in contemporary literature that he cannot be copied and replaced. Through viewing his life and analyzing his Xinjiang series novels and early-stage novels, this thesis attempts to illustrate the influence on his creation and life which Wang Meng's Xinjiang experiences bring about and put insight into complicated relationships between new China revolutionary political movement, literature and human soul. Wang Meng is one of the most complex writers with the most abundant life experiences in the contemporary literature world. He had the dream to be a professional revolutionist in his adolescence. High fidelity towards revolution and politics mark his creation with a heavy ideological impression. He held high the torch of revolution and walked toward the altar of faith on the broad road of literature, but he was suddenly thrown into the firm land of distant frontier by political turmoil ."Difficulties and hardships bring greatness", sixteen years of lower-class life shaped Wang Meng and completed the writer Wang Meng. from the aspect of the expression of the theme, characterization, style changes, combining historical background and life experience of Wang Meng, this paper attempts to explore the impact of life in Xinjiang, mainly composed of the following parts:Part 1: Delving into the background and reasons why Wang Meng went all the way to Xinjiang. Starting with the close connections between Wang Meng and politics, review briefly the political situations and literature creation conditions in the 1950s. Then, combine his poet mold, romantic character with enthusiasm for literature creation to show complicated motivation behind his trip to Xinjiang.Part 2: Comprehensive analysis of the significant role that Xinjiang played in his political life and life process as a turning point. Explain the role of salvation Xinjiang played in the political storm through historical facts as well as understanding, friendship and help which Xinjiang compatriots provided to Wang. Analyze the impact that Xinjiang culture made to Wang Meng in his spirit, ways of thinking, aesthetic orientation, attitude about life and other aspects. The simple and hard underclass life as well as rich and sophisticated multi-cultural resources of the minority, have given Wang Meng new experiences, new horizons, new knowledge, new simple and healthy attitudes and perceptions, Xinjiang had only been Wang Meng's temporary habitats, but this time it has become his eternal spiritual home and place where he bided his time.Chapter 3: Exploration about impact Wang Meng's Xinjiang experiences made on his creation. Xinjiang is the place where Wang Meng restarted his literature journey. when he picked up the pen again and reflect the revolution and life, he had abandon the blindness and impulse which come from pure faith. By comparing Xinjiang series novels and his early pieces of works, He was confirmed from a"Bolshevik" who carries a simple revolutionary belief into a detached happy the Person of Activity Fluctuate. Who cares about ordinary people's life, and question the truth of life, breaking through the restrictions of Ideological nature, marginalizing the subject, weakening the theme, making the hero fade and light clear up.Chapterâ…Ł: Analyze artistic characteristic and value of Wang Meng's Xinjiang series novels.
