| Anhui Regional Bank was established by Annuli Provincial Government in 1936 and it was a provincial financial department. It began from 1936 and it had been taken over by the People's Government of Anhui Province in 1949. It had totally existed for 13 years. With the purpose of relieving the provincial finance, assisting province and county economic development and implementation exchequer system, the bank developed many businesses not only included the ordinary business of commercial, but also included some special businesses in hand, such as deputizing treasury and issumg currency.By analyzing the journals of Annuli Regional Bank and historical materials, this thesis will research the bank's establishing background, development, operation management, business, historic effects and restrictions systematically. Besides that, this thesis will also analyze this bank's historic effects for the modern economy development of Annuli Province. The bank's occurrence and performance play a part in promoting the development of Annuli Province economic, and it also had accelerated the process of financial modernization of Anhui Province. The experience of Anhui Regional Bank is still instructive and beneficial for today's regional banks construction and development. |
