The expressing technique of Landscape painting is the form of art language that landscape painting artists extract from the practice of depicting the nature, and presentation of their aesthetic vision. It is a method to present natural objects and images and the thoughts and emotions of the painters as well, carrying the Chinese Philosophy of "unity of heaven and man. The various techniques of painting, ink-using, order etc. employed by painters don't stress the techniques themselves but to reflect painters'aesthetic pursuit of their interior emotion through observing and inspiration of natural landscape as a vehicle to expressing painter aesthetic vision. Painter expresses their subjective feelings on the basis of objective nature, because people's subjective understanding is not groundless but reflects of objects. Therefore, the landscape painting technique can't exit when isolated from natural objects.Landscape painting technique originates from the basis of painters'observation and inspiration of nature. As a result of diverse topographic, climatic and ecological features of the vast landscape of our country, painters developed variety technique in nature. Every painters find their own way and shape their unique art language and distinguished style. Dong Yuan creates "Pimacun" according to Jiangnan's undulating hillocks and prosperous plants; Fan Kuan creates " Yudiancun" in the light of presenting the deep peeks and hard rocks in the region of North Shaanxi Province; Ni Zan develops "Zhedaicun" on the basis of rugged and overlapped rocks in the Taihu Lake area; all kinds of "cun" techniques are introduced rest on different mountains and rocks in different regions, in the source of objective landscape, therefore, it closely connects with the feature and appearance of regional environment.With the development of time, Chinese society comes into booming modernization. All kinds of thoughts and culture rush into China. Chinese painting is the middle of frequent exchange with the world art and changing modern life. To fit with modern people's aesthetic mentality and create relevant art language, on one hand, modern painting idea should be melt into it to form a new art language that fit with modern people's aesthetic habit and standard on the basis of carrying traditional technique, on the other hand, painter should go deep into life and observe nature with their heart. Landscape painting is the production that the subjective and the objective harmonious combined together. Objective natural landscape is based on subjective emotion, so emotion cannot be cut off from outside world. Regional natural environment supplies painter with fresh and vivid materials, generating many different genre and distinguished style. The painter should go back to sense the art but not merely rely on forerunner's experience, if he wants to produce excellent works. Go deep into life, learn the nature; seek the beauty of life and nature, find the form of beauty and boldly search and vigorously innovate way improving the presentation of art language, then create vivid and fresh practical landscape paintings.
