Jiao Mo is one of the Chinese ink painting methods.Later,Huang Binhong classified it as one of the "seven ink" and Jiao Mo ranked first among the "seven ink",which shows that Bin Lao attached great importance to it.In fact,the use of Jiao ink element is extremely ancient,and plays an important role in the long-term development of landscape painting,or complex,or moss,so that the picture has bone,spirit,until the end of the Ming Dynasty to change the previous painting methods,pure thirst for ink painting,very pioneering and creative,so Jiao ink landscape painting has its beginning and embryonic form.Later,Huang Binhong,Zhang Ding and other masters developed Jiao Mo and Jiao Mo landscape painting.There are also many contemporary practitioners of Jiao Mo landscape painting.The abundant or even pure use of coke and ink elements makes landscape painting have unique expressive force and characteristics of the times,of course,it also has many limitations.This paper combs the emergence and development of Jiao Mo,analyses Jiao Mo landscape painting and its expressive force and artistic characteristics from the perspective of pen and ink,and points out its limitations and development space.
