The countryside theme of the hit TV series attracted everyone's attention during recent years. Although China's TV art has been developed for nearly half a century, in all types and themes of the drama, the countryside drama has always been a minority in number. Especially after the eighties of last century, they entered the silent period. Until the early 21st century, first with northeast countryside dramas popular on TV screen, the countryside drama began to grow in a rapid speed. This phenomenon is not only aroused the concern of scholars, but also aroused the concern of the industry, they have explained why the countryside drama are so popular from different aspects.China has experienced three major cultural transformations in last century, the May Fourth Movement, War and the New Period. Pioneer of the May Fourth broke the banner of traditional ethics with democracy and science. Cultural integration laid the wartime pattern of the early days until the seventh years and the overall development trend during the Cultural Revolution. The market economy since the New Period put the consumerism in front of people's spiritual life. According to Professor Hao Jian from Beijing Film College, contemporary mainland has three patterns of culture, which are the dominant culture (sometimes referred to as the mainstream culture), aesthetic high culture (also known as elite culture) and the mass culture (also known as commercial culture) as the fundamental purport. Based on popular northeast countryside drama during recent years, this essay discussed the integration of dominant culture and commercial culture. Despite the great vogue in the consumerism environment, the dominant culture is not as popular as mass culture, but its impact is still the dominant power for the development of the social cultural patterns. TV as one type of cultural products, mainly to express the dominant culture is called "Official TV". Under the influence of mass culture, "Official TV" is also increasingly focusing on the text in the form of popular culture, trying to be funny and exquisite and move audience on moral with ethical emotion in tradition. The dominant culture tries to gain a "cultural leadership" in the integration and coordination with popular culture.Countryside drama as text is placed in the cultural structure transition in this essay. The countryside drama as a mass cultural product, how do it express the intention of the dominant culture, while the dominant culture how to learn and absorb the fun expression of popular culture.
