In the long history of China, there had already been Hans living in Northeast in the far ancient. Furthermore, some Hans would migrate to be residents here for each period. The ratio of Hans in the total population was still low before Qing Dynasty and the mainstream in Northeast stage was still the minorities. Taking the migration of Shandong migrants to China, this thesis is to collect almost all the relative historical materials about all periods'documentaries, local files, modern journals and the related research books to explore and analyze the influences from the migrants who had migrated from Shandong to Northeast on the local traditional culture.In order to completely recognize and master the influence from Shandong Culture on the northeast of China, this paper stated in four chapters. Chapter One is about the origin of name of Guandong. The first part of it is on the analysis of the variety of the political regions'names. Then, it comes to the definite time for the name to be used for the first time, which is the beginning of Ming Dynasty, followed by the change and expansion of this regional name in Qing Dynasty. Finally in this chapter is to define Guandong culture. The second chapter is about the details on "Migrant Culture in Northeast'significance and connotation. First, the definition of migrants is discussed from all sides. After that, it analyzed the specific culture. Finally, discuss about the migrant culture, summarizing its inside and characteristic. Chapter Three is about Shandong migrants into Northeast. First, it talks about the Shandong migrants'conditions before Ming Dynasty. Next, it comes to the Shandong migrants in Qing Dynasty, furthermore, the number and date about the changes on Shandong migrants is listed. Finally, the Shandong migrants in the northeast after the republic are discussed. The fourth chapter is stating the general contribution and effect of the Shandong migrants, which can be described into:1) the contribution to development of Guandong from Shandong migrants; 2) effects on the social life.
