Gay Fiction Aesthetic Inquiry

This text's research objects are Yukio Mishima and Carson McCullers's homosexual novels, and investigate the aesthetic essence of homosexual literature creation from their representative works. The homosexual writing psychology is an important reason, which results in the distinctive aesthetic perspective of homosexual novels. Therefore, investigate the aesthetics of homosexual novels from the perspective of aesthetic psychology is meaningful. Most of homosexual novels are creating from male and female psychological perspectives and comparing them, thus exploring deeply the aesthetic psychology of different genders, which constitutes a unique appreciation in homosexual novels.This thesis is totally divided into four fractions. The first is the introduction, which brief introduces their representative gay novels of Yukio Mishima and Carson McCullers and makes a simple definition of gay psychology in homosexual novels. The second is the first chapter, which mainly analysis their creation psychological in the background of homosexual novel phenomenon, explores from the writer's id and ego, discusses from both of fresh and spirit. third chapter is the third part, analysis based in the text's psychological pattern which also is the text's pattern and from the perspective of both psychological pattern of male and female. The third chapter's research object is the aesthetic features in homosexual novels, explores the beauty of ambiguity, incompetence, death.
