The pre-Qin period is a mature period for books on military strategy in our country, is also a time when the foundation for our country military theories lays. Although some were already scattered and lost, the six pre-Qin books on military strategy "Grandson" "Wuzi" "the Sima Law" "Sun Bin Military Tactics" "Wei Liaozi" and "Six Arts of War" reflect sufficiently the circulation situation of pre-Qin books in our country on military strategy as well as the level of military theories, and has also provide us the important historical data of pre-Qin period's, holding the important status in the prose, the verse in history.The pre-Qin books on military strategies are monographs with usable theories, and the researches were quite thorough, comprehensive by numerous previous scholars from different dynasties and the achievement is striking, but the attention paid to literary value of pre-Qin books on military strategies is insufficiently. Pre-Qin books on military strategies have been written in Spring and Autumn Period, so their languages must have been influenced by the former literature. This article does some researches on rhyme characteristic, rhetoric art and the causes of rhyme language from pre-Qin six books on military strategies, hoping to reveal some study aspects which the prose and the verse of ancient times in our country have not been able to notice.The paper is divided into four parts:The first part mainly summarizes the elaboration on the author, the content, the book in circulation time and so on of pre-Qin books on military strategy as well as makes some simple combing on basic situation of the pre-Qin verse.The second part mainly summaries the rhyme characteristic"the rhyme type to be diverse, the rhyme is loose"of pre-Qin book on military strategies from the variety of the sentences as well as the rhyme and then compared with the rhyme in the"Book of Song".The third part mainly analyzes the artistic features of pre-Qin books on military from diverse rhetoric and succinct popular expression. The fourth part mainly analyzes the characteristic of rhyme language about pre-Qin books on military strategies from influence of other rhyme articles of pre-Qin books and culture of Qi Guo as well as it's disseminate characteristic.
