Many domestic and foreign researchers think the learning strategy is a key to success for foreign language learner. They carry on the definition and classification to the learning strategy from different angle and propose various ways of training,but they also have some certain limitation. For instance many researchs are regarding the memory strategy in cognition strategy, but researchs into strategy of looking up words and taking notes are relative few. In addition, the researchs into the vocabulary learning strategy training in view of the professional vocational colleges are very few. Although some researchs propose the directional learning strategy training, but the training pattern has not been worked out.This thesis is a memoir on learning strategy training, taking the Class 092 majoring in foreign language of Nanjing Technical college of Special Education as the object of study. It aims to confirm whether it can improve learners'independence of vocabulary learning,efficiency of using learning strategy and vocabulary knowledge through vocabulary learning strategy training, based on the understanding of the present situation of the vocabulary learning strategies adopted by the students in professional vocational colleges. This research takes the teaching way focusing on learning strategies training which involves the meta-cognition strategy and partial cognition strategy. The training lasts for three months and the author has provided full practice opportunity for the object in and after class.Through this research, two conclusions can be drawn:1)It can improve learners efficiency of using learning strategy through vocabulary learning strategy training.2) Strategy training, especially meta-cognition strategy training may improve the learners' ability to study independently and their vocabulary learning efficiency.Finally, according to the findings of strategy training, this article put forward some proposals to the next strategy training pattern and the classroom teaching research.
