And Song Dynasties Crane Poetry

The crane is a common physical image in Tang and Song Poems and owns rich literatural and cultural implications. And the research of the Crane Poetry in Tang and Song dynasties is an important part of the whole research of physical image.This paper is made up of five parts. The first chapter is on the research of the cultural phenomena of crane according to the historical records and the analysis of the chant poems of crane in pre-Tang period.The sceond chapter is talking about the chant poems of crane in Tang and Song dynasties from the content and artistic features. It shows clearly where the chant poems of crane in Tang and Song dynasties do coincide and where they do not.Chapter three mainly focuses on the research of the image of crane such as whooping crane,dancing crane and Song He.It shows a hidden purpose from other angle.The fourth chapter maily focuses on the analysis of the close relation to literary men and crane. It shows social tendency through a group of related activities of literary men for releasing crane,giving crane and mourning crane.The last chapter summarizes the crane poetry in Tang and Song dynasties from a rather macroscopic perspective and reveals its great influence and significance.
