The Hakka folk song in south of Jiangxi province plays a very important role in the culture of the Hakka. The folk song has a close connection with the Hakka's working life and it is all-important spiritual food to the Hakka. With pristine emotion and high tone, the Hakka folk song resounds around the valley. The folk song, a beautiful camellia, gives off its unique sweet-smelling in the garden of China's national folk music art.The writer of this thesis comes from Jiangxi province. She grows up with graceful Hakka folk songs, with which she has a sincere feeling and profound experience. However, nowadays in the academic area, most of the researches are studied from the perspective of the theory of national folk songs. It is a shame that such excellent art form is not studied by scholars in singing form, singing method, style and teaching methods. Therefore, based on a large amount of field studies and her own experience of singing Hakka folk songs in south of Jiangxi. Through collating and analyzing the data of singing, language and singing method, the writer puts emphasis on singing art of Hakka folk song in south of Jiangxi province, explores the theory and method of singing Hakka folk song. The purpose of this thesis is to provide references to the succession and development of such an outstanding folk music like the Hakka folk song in south of Jiangxi, as well as singing and teaching of national vocal music. Meanwhile, hopefully this thesis will help more and more music worker and amateur finding the Hakka folk song's attraction and obtaining a benefit.
