Contemporarily, when the development of the information technology is extremelyrash, the Internet became an essential resource and communication platform for thestudents to live and study in universities and colleges today. Therefore, how to use theInternet and Multimedia technology in the field of teaching has become a top issue in theForeign Language Teaching Reform all over the world.In China, Input is basically the main English teaching approach in college classroom.In recent years, the teachers are paying more attention to improving of the ability ofOutput of language learning. But the students still have great difficulty in the LanguageOutput. Therefore, in order to improve the language Output capacity of the students, it isnot only necessary to improve the teaching approach, but also essential to attach moreimportance to how to use effective means to make the L2students to notice the problemsexisting in their language system under the correct and timely supervision and feedback;then they can consciously do the analysis and correction of the language form and content.The writer did the experiment and analysis of100students from Hebei NormalUniversity of Science and Technology (HNUST) to study that how to make good use ofthe network environment to promote the communication between students and the teacher;how to make TBLT as the core of the teaching process, and how to combine with the helpof CALL to enrich their learning resources and stimulate the students' learning interestand enthusiasm, so that the writing ability of the students could be improved efficiently.Besides, the experiment and analysis could provide some practical advices for the teachingreform in HNUST.Based on these theory foundations of Task-based Language Teaching,Network-based language teaching, Computer-assisted Language Learning and WritingTeaching, the writer uses the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,such as, questionnaires, interviews and experiments, to explore and analyze the students'difficulties in the process of learning English writing. Through the course design and theexperiment, the writer has also compared and analyzed the improvements of the studentsin the Experimental Class and Control Class in the aspects of participation of the activitiesin class, changes of the learning enthusiasm and motivation, and writing ability andachievements. After one semester's experiment, the writer got the experimental data, which showed that: the writing achievements of the students in the Experimental Classhave been significantly improved, and the achievements of the students in the ControlClass, who are taught under the traditional teaching methods, got no evident changes.It is expected that the findings and discussions in this study will give modestcontribution and shed light on the relative research for college English writing teachingunder Chinese EFL environment.
