Researching On Formal Language Of Yueqing Fine-Grained Paper-Cut

Paper cutting is a kind of household folk arts and crafts in China. As a means of working people's emotional expression, paper-cut arts has a long history, also contains a rich cultural connotation. Yueqing fine-grained paper-cut is counted as a wonderful work in China's folk paper-cut, representing the Southern China's paper-cut. Thus, it wins the reputation of "a unique in China ".The thesis takes Yueqing fine-grained paper-cut as research object. Through a series of research's approach:field survey, data collection and pattern analysis of paper-cut, combining with the relevant literature as theoretical framework, and invesgating in local Yueqing, experiencing the local custom of "the town of fine-grained paper-cut" as the foundation of the research facts, together with the collection, generalization and analysis of objects and picture as materials, so as to make a more comprehend elaboration and conclusion of Yueqing fine grained paper-cut language.The thesis begins with the concept of formal language, to illustrate the context of the employment of this concept. The research is based on the introduction of the China fine-grained paper-cut formal language features, the definition of Yueqing fine-grained paper-cut and the analysis of its origin. Through the integration of relevant materials, the following part will interprate the formal language from five aspects:cultural carrier, visual representation, technical support, aesthetic principles and pursuit. And lastly, describes the conservation status of Yueqing fine-grained paper-cut, on the basis of discussion on its development in the new period.
