The Research On Wang Tingne's Drama

Wang Tingne is a great Writer in the dramatic world of Latter Ming Dynasty.His works is quite abundant, especially the "shi hou ji" has been called the most famous drama in Ming Dynasty.He holds the space in the dramatic world of the mid and latter Ming Dynasty,however,For a variety of reasons,so far researchers haven't paid enough attention to them.Wang Tingne's thought is very complex, there are three thought influent him including Confucianist, Buddhist,and Taoism,but his thought is still in order to fairy asked primarily.Therefore the Ideological content of he works is very complex, not only born form the positive spirit, but also from the will of returns to the wooded mountain. He believes the ideals of withdrawing ghosts, so his works is coated with a layer of strong feudal fate colour and weathering spirit. This paper will be divided into three chapters, the first chapter analysis the existing works of WangTingNe's drama, his play is divided into historical figures, family education, youth love and so on. I use two ways to analyze the subjects,separating each kind of dramas and connectting each plays with each other. Chapter two discusses the ideological content of his works,which mainly has weathered tastes, feudal ideas, treat fame of fatalistic and contradictory mentality literati appeal.
