| As a representative works of Wang Anyi, Xiao Baozhuang has been regarded as the milestone in the writing history of the writer. "Renyi" are the key words of the novel, but also are the theme of the text. The theme development is closed to the narrative analysis. So the paper probes into semantic analysis, which consists of at least two perspectives: the semanteme of key words "Renyi"and its rhetorical function exterted on text.Drawing lessons from correlative theory of General Rhetoric, the paper plans to examinate the overall rhetoric design by analysis of textual language. By analysizing the semantemes of "Renyi", the paper tries to understand the rhetorical function on the text. From the two points, the paper regards the different semantemes of "Renyi" and the anlising of narrative as the coordinate. |
