Once women’s fertility problem was proposed in the late Qing Dynasty, it has been incorporated into the national discourse system. The fertility properties of women was endowed with the great significance of making the country more powerful and have become an important way to make the country survive. At the same time, the discipline of the female body started at the beginning of the advocacy of women’s liberation. Not only liberation does not mean for the real and independent freedom, it makes women fall into the dilemma in the name of state nationalism.Xiao Hong and Su Qing realized the problem of fertility in the national disclosure system at the same time. The first chapter will begin with the discussion of the new sex morality and will analyze the sexual attitude of Xiao Hong and Su Qing and their thoughts about the indestructible relationship between sex and fertility. The second chapter will put forward the reason that Xiao Hong and Su Qing described the scene of fertility straightforward which breaks fertility taboo. The reason is that the liberation of modern women’s body gave them the desire and right to talk about the body and the deep trauma to women’s physical and mental status by fertility.
