The purposes and significance of the study:The aesthetic features of each kind of arts are demonstrated by a specific language and certain patterns. The writer of this paper is trying to highlight the significance of the formal language in art works by briefing, analyzing the importance of the use of formal language in oil paintings and introducing the writer's practice in using the formal language in oil painting production.Research methods:To prepare the paper, the writer has studied the writings on formal language.
