| Study on ancient Chinese sports, in addition to history and unofficial historical documents, such as the ancient poetry, notes, drama and fiction and other kinds of literary works, etc. are also the important research data. Because of literary works had relevant descriptions of sports, which were the portraiture of social life. This article found out the contents of sports in Chinese Song Poems and systematically summarized and analyzed according to the content classify, this paper tries to tell us more about ancient Chinese sports through the special view—Chinese Song Poems.The results of the study indicate that: first, there were many descriptions of the relevant palace sports life in Chinese Song Poems. These kinds of sports are not only means of palace entertainment exercise but also for deepen communications between Kings and nobles. Secondly, there were precious sports contents in Chinese Song Poem which provided many extremely reference materials to the research of the sports development situation of song dynasty. Third, there were rich contents about sports of ordinary people, which were related various holidays and folk customs. Fourth, there were many women's sports, although the ancient woman were double restricted by feudal society by male-centered culture tradition and Song Dynasty neo-Confucianism requirements of"smile without toothy, walk without moving dress", but it's really valuable to see there are still some women's sports in yard or during scenes in Chinese Song Poems.In conclusion, sports and literature have close connections. On the one hand, the prosperity and development of the sports provides abundant materials and more vast areas of creativity for literature. On the other hand, the prosperity of literature and influence of the expansion will cheer for sports and can be better dissemination of sports spirit and expand sports influence. It has shown from the sports in Chinese Song Poems. |
