The Four Heroes Fu For Research

Fu is one of the four leading forms of the poetry in ancient China, and the Fu written by the four outstanding poets of the early Tang Dynasty is an important component of the literary work at that time. It is produced in a specific literal developing stage that links Six Dynasties and the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Some certain features of it are closely connected with the literary tendency of that period. And more importantly, although the Fu written by the four outstanding poets didn't get rid of the influence of Six Dynasties literary circle, it had expressed its own definite feature in some aspects, and had a positive impact on the literary work of Fu in the late Tang Dynasty and the following historical periods. This thesis illustrates the developing progress of Fu and the innovation of the four outstanding poets on the basis of the previous literary work of Fu, the inspiration to the later poem work and the influence to literary work of Fu in the middle and late Tang Dynasty. Thus the aim of the thesis is to assign a clear order of the development of the Fu written by the four outstanding poets of the early Tang Dynasty.
