With China's entry into the modern history, and the accelerated pace of " western learning spreading to the east", "where Chinese culture goes" has been a major cultural topic since 19th century. Around the theme, cultural liberalism, cultural radicalism and cultural conservatism appeared. They all raised their cultural opinion and tried to point out China's right cultural route in the future. In the camp of conservatism, there were four "declaration" about Chinese culture, and those are《Chinese's Quintessence Declaration of Cultural Development》by Xinmin Wang in 1935;《Chinese Cultural Declaration to the World------our study on Chinese academic research and the future of Chinese culture and the world culture》by Zongsan Mou, Fuguan Xu, Junmai Zhang and Junyi Tang on January, 1935;《Jiashen Cultural Declaration》by Jialu Xu, Xianlin Ji, Zhenning Yang, Meng Wang and 70 scholars on September, 2004;《The Transition and Beginning of Chinese Culture------Hundred-year Confucianism declaration》by Taohui Huo,Qiyong Guo etc. Four declarations above raised concerns and impact more and more in educational circles and society. From the perspective of comparison, this paper reveals evocation, mutual philosophy and difference of ideas, and shows the meaning of the four declarations in Chinese cultural consciousness and tries to analyze their historical limitations and theoretical absence.
