Ergonomic Study On Static, Adaptive And Adaptable In Mobile Directory

Currently, in the human - computer interface optimization, the adaptive technology and adaptable technology, and other personalized design had become an important approach of the computer interface design [1]. However, there are still many controversial results related adaptive interfaces, and the interactive methods of human-mobile interface are different in many respects, compared to human-computer interface. The results could not directly apply in interface for mobile.In summarizing and the basis of previous studies, this study took laboratory research methods, took performance and user satisfaction as independent, and compared static, adaptive, and adaptable designs in three different mobile directory, and discussed the principles and characters. At last analysis the role of temporal factors in the adaptive, adaptable interface.There are three studies consisting of four experiments. Study 1 survey users'current operation behaviors and current satisfaction on mobile directory by questionnaire; Study 2 by experimental method compares static interface, adaptive interface and adaptable interface with performance and user satisfaction. Study 3 use experimental methods to verify temporal factors on the adaptive, adaptable directory performance.According to the experiments results there were the following conclusions:(1) The performance of adaptive interface better than the static interface, user satisfied with adaptive interface; the performance of adaptable interface performance than adaptive, no significant in the subjective satisfaction.(2) The existence of adaptive interface operation time effect: the first half, the performance of the adaptable interface is better than adaptive interface; the second half, there was no significant difference.(3) Temporal factors is one of the factors adaptive interface.(4) Personalized design mobile directory may become the future direction of the design.According to the experimental results, the study proposed adaptive design and adaptable directory design. The results of this study, there was an important theoretical and practical significance to personalized interface for mobile design and the actual improvement.
