Research On Mobile User Interface Style With Typical Technology Retro Tendency

There is a style of typical technology retro tendency on mobile interface design,that is,the related styles with the trend of technology retro tendency are all produced from the 1980s to the end of the 20th century.These phased visual characteristics of technology limitation have dated back to mobile user interface design,and finally become style after the year of 2010.Several of these styles are still popular on mobile user interface design.But at present,the research on this kind of style with the characteristics of technology retro tendency is relatively scattered.The symbolic characteristics,development context and evolution trend,especially the collaborative evolution and the conceptual motivation of social aesthetic preferences are not clear,so this study aims to solve the above problems.The first part,determine the research content,investigate the research background,sort out the current situation of related literature research and research methods that can be used for reference,further determine the research content and explore the research significance.This paper analyzes the popularity of technology retro tendency from Google trend and literature,and defines seven influential styles as the research objects,including Pixel Art,Low Poly,2.5D,Halftone,Duotone,Grain and Noise Effect and 3D Solid Color Rendering.The second part:the study of style’s formal language characteristics,through the method of symbol segmentation,the above seven styles are studied by symbol coding,segmentation of symbol characteristic elements,analysis of style characteristic rules,derivation of differences and common relations between styles.And from the "order"characteristics of the style with technology retro tendency under the screen media grid system,we can trace the form source of the style.The third part:the evolution of style with technology retro tendency,using Google trend as a data query tool to obtain the search data and representative cases of each style,analyzes the development context of each style,and figure out the relationship between these styles and the development of flat design,tries to reveal the reasons for the current backtracking of style with technology retro tendency,and leads to the era characteristics of the current popularization of art society.The fourth part:design practice,take Yuanmingyuan app conceptual design as an example,the historical elements of the Qing Dynasty performance with the above styles,and through the design practice to verify the above theoretical research.The fifth part:the conclusion,summarizes the conclusions of the basic theoretical research and practical research,according to the methods and shortcomings in the research process,puts forward and improves the analysis method of style research used in this study,and provides the thinking direction for the follow-up related style research.
