| Objective:The medical model has been changed from the traditional biological one to the modern biological-psychological-social one. In order to make healthy check-up from the physical level to the psychological level, the personal characteristics of psychological health assessment has first been included in the medical project of cadets who entered themselves for military colleges in 2006. Military academies are high-quality base for future training troops. Therefore, relevant departments focus the psychological health of student increasingly. Cadets and National Defense Students are special groups as college students. Due to the influence of diverse environment factors, assignments and other aspects such as study, management, training and interpersonal relationship, they formed their own typical personalities. Therefore, it is necessary to attach great attention to this special group of personality traits, this group study on the personality characteristics associated with military career choice and analysis of related factors affecting their personality in order to improve their mental health, and comprehensively improve the health level of this special group. Consequently, our army's high-quality military talents construction of strategic significance makes sense. Improving comprehensively mental health of military personnel is mainly depended on psychological selection and training (or cultivate) two ways. Psychological selection is the most influential way to improve the mental health level of soldiers. Base on these points, this research includes 1371 Military Academy candidates'health as research purpose through questionnaire investigation, and personality volume table detection to analysis its personality features and the character orientation and related influential factors. This activity provides theoretical basis for military sections strengthening candidates Military Academy students psychological quality of checking work and comprehensively evaluation for the candidates to detect if they have the necessary personality characteristics and status of mental health to adapt military official positions.Methods:The methods are adopted Miao Danmin who comes from the 4th Military Medical University and his workmates'MBTI personality type chart G-version to test the object of study, and apply self-designing personal information investigation questionnaire to collect necessary basic information.Results:1. In the 16 personality types, ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) and ESFJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) have majority detection proportion of share, which equals 80.9% of total number. ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) has the maximum detection proportion of share, which equals 61.6%.2. In the three common objective types of investigation, urban ESFJ (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) type personality detection ratio exceeds rural ESFJ (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) type personality detection ratio. The higher education background of investigation object's father has higher detection ratio. The lower education background of investigation object's father has lower detection ratio. In ISTJ type (introversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) investigation, the lower education background of investigation objects'fathers have higher detection ratio, and the higher education background of investigation objects'father's have lower detection ratio. In ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) investigation, the detection ratio of investigation objects that have better study records is higher than the detection ratio of investigation objects that have common or worse study records. In ISTJ type (introversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) investigation, no-only-child's detection ratio is higher than only-child's detection ratio.3. The dimension factors of the investigation objects that trend E (extraversion), S (sensing), T (thinking) and J (judgment) have higher score than the investigation objects that trend I (introversion), N (intuition), F (feeling) and P (perceiving) averagely. The investigation objects that come from rural family have better score than the investigation objects that come from urban family in T (thinking). The investigation objects that fathers have accepted under junior school education have better score in T (thinking) and lower score in F (feeling) than the investigation objects that fathers have accepted over senior high school education. The investigation objects that have better study records have lower score in I (introversion) and F (feeling) than the investigation objects that have common or worse study records. The only-child candidates in investigation objects have better score in E (extraversion) and N (intuition), and lower score in I (introversion), and S (sensing) than non-only-child candidates in investigation objects. The overweight investigation objects have better score in E (extraversion) and lower score in I (introversion) than non-overweight investigation objects.Conclusions:1. The majority cadets in Jilin Province in 2011 belong to ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment), ESFJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) and ISTJ type (introversion, sensing, thinking, judgment). ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) has the maximum detection ratio.2. ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment), and ESFJ type (extraversion, sensing, feeling, judgment) and ISTJ type (introversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) three species personality type are fit requirements. ESTJ type (extraversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) type personality is more likely for command major, ESFJ type (extraversion, sensing, feeling, judgment) and ISTJ type (introversion, sensing, thinking, judgment) are better for research major.3.
