China is a multi-cultural country. Han culture is the dominant culture to the status of other minorities, but minorities have their own unique culture and simple. When the individual minority left their own familiar cultural environment into the Han culture environment, the cultural differences between different ethnic would result acculturation.Why do some people can better integrate into an unfamiliar culture with good cooperation and exchanges, while others do not? Literature review found that many studies were attempts to find the reasons with language barriers, communication style, sense of identity, but few people concerned about the intelligence of their own which caused this difference. In 2003, Earley & Ang (2003) based on multiple intelligence theory (Sternberg, 1986) proposed the concept of cultural intelligence which reflect the people'ability of gathering information, making judgments and taking effective measures to adapt to a new culture. When minority students leave their own familiar cultural environment to another cultural environment, such as from their own ethnic group into Han areas for studying, they often feel uncertainty. How to maintain their own culture and get into the new culture may lead to confusion and loss which can cause learning and communication problems. Therefore, it has great practical significance to study minority college students acculturation from the view of cultural intelligence. This paper revised the cultural intelligence scale and tested the measurement indexes. At the same time, this study also analyzed the characteristics of the cultural intelligence of minority college students and its relationship with acculturation.Based on revising and analyzing cultural intelligence scale,This study contains three parts:1.Cultural intelligence scale of Ang (2004) was revised and the revised cultural intelligence scale's reliability and validity is very reasonable. This questionnaire's internal consistency coefficient is 0.904, it's split half reliability is 0.763, p < 0.01, reached the level of significance. Structural validity of this questionnaire is good, and it approximately consistent with the original scale's theoretical model. So it means this scale design scientific and reasonable. 2.This study chose 1,000 college students as subjects. Ground on the analysis, we can know that the girl's cultural intelligence level was higher than boys and the difference was significant, but the boy's cognitive cultural intelligence was higher than girls with no significant differences. College students of different disciplines had significant difference in cultural intelligence.3.Minority college students were measured to explore the influence of cultural intelligence on their original acculturation and Chinese acculturation. We found that individuals with higher cultural intelligence were better in the acculturation of original and mainstream culture, but individuals with lower cultural intelligence were worse in those two sorts of acculturation. According to the verification analysis of structural equation model, it is showed that cultural intelligence influenced on the individual original and mainstream acculturation. After the correlation analysis of cultural intelligence and acculturation stress, motivational culture intelligence had a significant negative correlation with three factors of acculturation stress scale.
