At present,there are a lot of researches on subjective well-being at home and abroad.Subjective well-being refers to the evaluation of the quality of life by individuals according to their own standards.It is a comprehensive psychological indicator(Diener,2002).Ethnic identity refers to the ethnic members' understanding of the identity of the nation in the process of interaction and interaction,and then form the recognition of the culture,language,history and other aspects of the nation,as well as the attitude,belonging,and behavior of the nation towards other peoples.And the recognition of belief(Wan Minggang,Wang Yapeng,2002).acculturative stress refers to the phenomenon and process in which the interaction between different cultural groups causes psychological and cultural changes in the group and its members.The negative behaviors and emotional reactions to the new environment are ones that exist in the process of acculturative stress(Berry,1999).China has 55 ethnic minorities,each of which has a unique national culture.Different cultural identities bring them different happiness experiences.In recent years,scholars have studied the national identity and subjective well-being,and the research on the cultural adaptation pressure of ethnic minorities is not mature enough.In order to have a more comprehensive understanding of Tibetan students' subjective well-being,cultural adaptation pressure and national identity,this study used 539 nationality questionnaire(TUEI),cultural adaptation stress questionnaire(ASSIS)and subjective well-being questionnaire(SWB)to 533 Tibetans.Undergraduate questionnaire survey,using the method of convenient sampling,investigates the ethnic identity,cultural adaptation pressure and subjective well-being of Tibetan college students,analyzes the factors affecting Tibetan students' subjective well-being,and explores ethnic identity,cultural adaptation pressure and subjective well-being.The specific methods of research include differential testing,correlation analysis,and structural equation modeling.The purpose of this study is to apply the research results to Tibetan agglomerations,provide countermeasures to college education in ethnic areas,create a harmonious and stable campus environment of ethnic unity,and improve the subjective well-being of Tibetan college students.The study found:(1)The ethnic identity of Tibetan college students are significantly different in terms of gender,grade,family residence,and number of Han Chinese friends.The cultural adaptation pressure of Tibetan college students is significantly different in gender,place of residence,number of Han friends,and time of learning Chinese;The subjective well-being of college students is significantly different in the grade,place of residence,and time of learning Chinese;(2)There is a significant correlation between the ethnic identity of Tibetan college students and the pressure of cultural adaptation.The mainstream cultural identity is significantly negatively correlated with the sense of discrimination,fear and hostility.Positive ethnic identity is significantly positively correlated with homesickness and cultural shocks;negative ethnic identity and There is a significant positive correlation between the various dimensions of cultural adaptation pressure;there is a significant negative correlation between discrimination,fear,cultural shock,hostility and subjective well-being;(3)Mainstream cultural identity,discriminatory feelings,homesickness,fear of a significant predictors to effect on subjective well-being;(4)The pressure of cultural adaptation plays a part in mediating between mainstream cultural identity and subjective well-being,and directly plays a role as a complete intermediary in negative ethnic identity and subjective well-being.
