Xun Yue Shen Jian Study

"Shen Jian" is a political commentator and the Eastern Han Dynasty historian Xun Yue's a political commentary of the prose. The book is short and pithy. It was concerned by many Confucian scholars and comments, had value and greater impact. XunYue had solid Confucian foundation, Xun's family was influential in the society. Xun Shu, his grandfather and his uncle, Xun Shuang,were all Confucian scholars. Xun Yu was an important policy makers for Cao Cao, and therefore the study of Xun Yue's family background was helpful to the ideas of "Shen Jian". Xun Yue's dinasty where he lived has been more than two thousand years, the version of "Shen Jian" may have got many inevitable contradictory errors during the poor circulation, so in order to fully interpret "Shen Jian" is inseparable from its version. Therefore, the problem of Shen Jian's version is one aspect of this article that I'll study.Xun Yue's mind is a more complicated issue because of his family origins and the special historical period in which he lived, his thoughts had both elements of Confucianism, including the Confucian politics, philosophy, education, ethics, and health thought, etc. In discussing the concept of law and teaching method, Heaven relations and human nature and so on, he'd got the views of previous breakthroughs and innovation, with the political and academic value; there were humanitarian law and the ideological content; In addition, both had Han social criticism, his criticism on Divination Theology and superstition had a reasonable factor of dialectical materialism, but in some areas such as the relationship between the Heaven and Human, and fell into the quagmire of determinism unable to extricate themselves, which was due to class and age limitations of the decision, we can't demand the writer too much and we'd better hold the dialectical view. Therefore, I plan to research Shen Jian's ideas comprehensively from three aspects.Based on the preservation of Shen Jian's version and the ideas study, with historic and scientific methods, I focus on the study of Shen Jian's version and ideas because of its great importance.
